About the role
We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Children and Youth Case Manager, at our Karratha, WA location. Reporting to the Team Leader, this is a permanent, full-time position.This role requires the ability and willingness to be on call and work outside normal business hours, as required (i.e. Mornings and Afternoons). Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Award, level 5.
Key Responsibilities
Provide case management and support to children and young people who have experienced family violence
Offer evidence-based, developmentally appropriate support in home, school, and community settings
Work closely with families, helping parents strengthen their relationships with their children
Conduct risk assessments and safety planning to ensure children's wellbeing
Collaborate with key agencies and professionals to deliver holistic support
Contribute to a caring and professional team that is committed to making a difference
What You Bring
Experience working with children and families in a community service setting
A trauma-informed and client-centered approach to support
Strong communication and liaison skills to engage with families and partner agencies
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently
Proficiency in case note writing and record management
A valid Working with Children Check, WA Driver's Licence, and First Aid & CPR certification
A qualification in Social Work, Early Childhood, Counselling, Community Services, or a related field (preferred but not essential)
