About the role
Modern Kitchens and Cabinets is seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented Project Administrator to join our growing team. In this key role, you will coordinate project activities across multiple large‑client batch customised projects and client personalised customised cabinetry projects, manage schedules and documentation, and ensure smooth communication between clients, internal teams (design, production, installation, and sales), and external material suppliers. You will play a vital role in ensuring that all projects are delivered to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and support multiple large‑client batch customised projects and client personalised customised cabinetry projects by liaising with sales, design, production, and installation teams, ensuring smooth project workflow and timely follow‑up.
* Act as a communication bridge between the Director and all project stakeholders (design team, production team, installation team, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients), facilitating project schedule preparation, monitoring progress, and ensuring key deadlines are achieved.
* Coordinate resources, support both on‑site and off‑site operations, and responsible for project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely delivery of multiple large‑client batch customised projects and client personalised customised cabinetry projects.
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project documentation, including quotes, drawings, specifications, variations, purchase orders, and installation records.
* Communicate with external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, to ensure timely and accurate information flow, confirm key milestones at each project stage, and coordinate resource allocation according to project progress.
* Monitor project changes or variations and prepare relevant documentation for approval.
* Support onsite and offsite teams by addressing project‑related enquiries promptly.
* Prepare regular reports on project status, timelines, and overall workflow efficiency.
* Organize and coordinate meetings related to project execution.
* Ensure all project processes comply with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
* At least 3 years of demonstrated and verifiable experience in project administration or coordination experience.
* Strong organisational and time‑management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* Experience using project management or workflow software is an advantage.
* Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and stakeholders across different stages of a project.
* Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable.
