Our client is a large QLD Government Department seeking a Data Analyst to join a dynamic team, where you will play a vital role in supporting the frontline services through data-driven insights. The client is looking for a motivated individual with a strong background in data extraction, manipulation, and analysis to help enhance the reporting and strategic workforce planning.
**Key Requirements**:
- **Highly Desirable**:
- Experience in data extraction, manipulation, analysis, and presentation of workforce information (e.g., staff, payroll, and establishment data).
- Proficiency in Power BI, SQL Server, MS Excel, and other business intelligence tools.
**Your Key Accountabilities**:
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Performing data extraction and manipulation of workforce data to prepare high-quality reports in line with departmental and external reporting requirements.
- Maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate information sharing and ensure the delivery of quality data and reporting services.
- Responding to requests for information from stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data and services.
- Contributing to regular audits and cleansing of staff and establishment data to ensure integrity, accuracy, and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Collaborating on projects and working within project teams to meet agreed outcomes, timelines, and quality standards.
- Developing and maintaining procedures, guidelines, and training materials on key work practices, and delivering awareness sessions on key reporting products and dashboards.
