About the Role
This is more than reactive maintenance.
As an Electrical Reliability Technician, you'll focus on improving equipment reliability and eliminating repeat electrical and control system failures across a high-volume packaging environment. Working closely with production and engineering, you'll take ownership of electrical performance, fault finding, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Investigate electrical and control system faults and conduct root cause analysis
* Improve reliability of motors, VSDs, PLCs, sensors and packaging line control systems
* Perform planned and breakdown electrical maintenance and support commissioningIdentify critical components and manage electrical spare parts
* Support apprentices and contractors with a strong safety focus
* Contribute to improvement and reliability projects across automation and control systems
* Contribute to improvement and reliability projects
What You'll Bring
* Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or packaging environments
* Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and control systems
* Experience with motors, VSDs, PLCs, sensors and electrical drawings
* Ability to use CMMS and basic computer systems
* Exposure to TPM / 5S or reliability frameworks
* PLC experience (e.g. Siemens / Allen‐Bradley)
* Forklift, EWP or other high‐risk licences
