About Skyzer
Skyzer is a product lifecycle solutions company - we work with electronic devices like internet modems, payment terminals and other electronic equipment.
We offer full break fix repairs services for some of these devices. Which involves testing returned devices and repairing & refurbishing them.
We have plenty of work, and we are continuing to build a strong team where everyone gets to contribute.
This is our 22nd year of operation, so even if you haven't heard of us before, you will have definitely used devices that we worked on - whether it's tap-and-go payments in a store or access the internet via the NBN
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* To be able to test, diagnose, troubleshoot & repair electronic handheld devices.
* Read and work from electronic schematics Diagrams.
* Being able to troubleshoot & repair down to component level.
* Be capable of soldering and de-soldering SMT circuit boards.
Experience Required
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills & be happy to work in a team.
* Experience using any electronic E.R.P. software to complete Job repair records for any work done.
* Good punctuality and attendance are essential.
· Being capable to interpret schematic circuit diagrams to diagnose faults.
· Experience using basic hand tools such as battery screwdrivers is essential.
· Experience using a Multimeter is required.
· A minimum of 1 to 2 years' experience repairing small electronic equipment is preferred, but not essential.
· Experience dismantling / re-assembling small electronic products and repairing down to board level is a plus. Also experience on electromechanical repairs and assembly work is a big plus for all workshop Technicians.

If you have experience repairing any of the following equipment we want to speak with you,
· Any brand of Personal Computer
· Any type of handheld electronic devices
· Monitors / display screens
· Any brand of domestic Robotic vacuum cleaner
Questions on circuit diagrams, electronic device disassembly and repairs, will be a requirement when interviewed.
Additionally, a short soldering test & device dismantling test will also be required at the end of the interview.
Qualifications
Qualifications desired are a Certificate or Diploma in Electronic Equipment Servicing, but not essential.
