The role:
Knight Frank Newcastle is seeking a hands on and energetic Centre Manager to help drive financial growth for a portfolio of shopping Centres on behalf of a growing shopping centre owner.
The successful applicant will be responsible for partnering with retailers to implement strategies and initiatives, with the ultimate goal of increasing visitation and retailer sales. This role would suit someone experienced or looking for their next career opportunity.
Key Tasks:
* Effective communication skills combined with natural affinity to form and maintain quality relationships with key stakeholders including the centre owner, retailers, guests and contractors.
* Strong capability to analyse information, problem solve and present solutions.
* Ability to understand financial reports, identify opportunities and risks, and reforecast.
* Ability to lead and influence across multiple functions in the Centre and broader team.
* Understanding of retail leasing and asset management.
* Develop and maintain quality internal relationships with the team, Knight Frank Newcastle office and Knight Frank Australia.
* Ability to work autonomously, triage issues and escalate when required.
Who are we looking for?
Experience and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Business or Property (or similar field of study)
* Experience in Shopping Centre Management
* Self motivated with the ability to build strong relationships
* Well organised and outcome oriented
* Advanced stakeholder management experience
* Strong problem solving and interpretation skills
* Proactive and positive attitude
* Drivers license (and own vehicle)
* An understanding of the property industry, with prior shopping centre experience would be advantageous.
* Assistant Agent working towards, or a Class 2 Real Estate License.
