Job Description:
Austal is a global shipbuilder and maritime technology partner designing, constructing, and supporting vessels for the world's leading operators.
With operations in Australia, the USA, Philippines, and Vietnam, Austal delivers naval shipbuilding and sustainment programs for various clients.
The company employs approximately 1,000 people in facilities located across Western Australia, Queensland, and the Northern Territory.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Hold a Construction safety induction (white card)
* Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture
* Proven experience in vessel design and regulatory compliance
* Proficient in Microsoft office, Maxsurf and FEA software
* 5 years' experience in ship design and construction
* Experience in the design of Naval platforms
