The division is seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to become a part of the **Chemistry team** that strives to exceed customer expectations by delivering quality results on time and by maintaining solid relationships with their clients. This is a full-time role with the hours to be discussed with the successful candidate. **The Day to Day** · Performing routine chemical analysis, such as gravimetric analysis, titrations and sample extractions for instrumental procedures. · Operation of instrumentation such as ICPMS and ICPOES. · Ensure analytical procedures and associated tasks are conducted in accordance with ALS Quality Systems. · Following structured workflows to ensure accuracy and consistency. · Contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-performing laboratory environment. **The Essentials:** · A qualification in Chemistry or a related discipline (degree, Cert IV, or Diploma). · Experience working with analytical instruments. · Minimum of one year of experience in a laboratory setting. · Robust organisational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities. · Flexibility to adapt working hours to meet production needs. · A collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and within a team. · High standards when it comes to data quality, lab safety, and client service.**Working at ALS**The ALS team is a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.Our values are important to us, and shape how we work, how we treat each other and how we recognise excellence.At ALS, you’ll be supported to develop new skills and reach your full potential.
