Role Overview
This is a pure new business role for a commercially sharp Business Development Manager who thrives on opening doors and building territory from the ground up. You'll take ownership of the Victorian market, identifying, winning and onboarding new customers across industrial chemicals and solvents.

Key Responsibilities
* Prospect, target and win new customers across industrial and manufacturing sectors
* Develop opportunities with end users, distributors and private label partners
* Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to onboarding and handover
* Lead commercial negotiations, pricing and margin strategy
* Reactivate dormant accounts and expand share of wallet
* Build strong supplier and industry relationships to generate new leads
* Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and reporting through CRM tools
* Represent the business at industry events and customer forums
Skills and Attributes
* Proven hunter with consistent new business wins
* Experience in industrial chemicals, solvents, commodity distribution or adjacent B2B sectors
* Strong commercial acumen, confident owning price, margin and deal structure
* Comfortable in competitive, high-volume environments
* Self-driven, resilient and proactive in building a territory
* Down-to-earth, team oriented and credible with stakeholders at all levels
* Able to operate autonomously with a strong sense of accountability
