Required Skills and Qualifications

* Medical Registration & Qualifications: A Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, with General Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.

* Strong Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, with a genuine empathy for patients and their families, and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team or independently.

* Clinical Competence & Problem Solving: Proven skills in ward-based procedures, sound clinical judgement, and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure while maintaining patient care standards.

* Commitment to Excellence & Adaptability: A proactive approach to quality improvement and a strong understanding of contemporary medical practices, with a positive response to change and knowledge of WHS principles.
