Job Overview

This role is responsible for supporting the business in ensuring all employees are fully compliant, engaged, informed, and aligned through each aspect of our training and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and experienced training professional who can provide daily support to the business unit across all training and compliance needs.


Key Responsibilities

* Support Business Operations: Provide daily support to the business unit across all training and compliance needs.
* Action End-to-End Tasks: Action end-to-end tasks related to the employee's training and compliance life cycle, specifically induction training, new starter check-ins, refresher course training, upkeep of qualifications, including processes and actions in associated systems.
* Manage Training Calendars: Manage training calendars, office room bookings, arrange equipment, and coordinate trainer availability.
* Build Relationships: Ensure strong relationships are built across the unit to enable a seamless, quality-led service to the business, with staff, line managers, head office, and necessary external stakeholders.
* Communicate Effectively: Send out training invitations, reminders, and updates to participants, as well as communicate with trainers and other internal and external stakeholders.
* Coordinate National and In-House Training: Assist with the coordination of national and in-house training.
* Deliver Training: Deliver and facilitate training, including but not limited to first-day inductions.
* Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of training attendance, completion, and other relevant data.
* Prepare Training Materials: Prepare and distribute training materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant.
* Collect Feedback: Collect training program feedback and support continuous improvement processes.
* Identify Training Needs: Identify training needs through surveys, interviews, or assessments, and in some cases, contribute to the design and development of training programs.
* Prepare Compliance Reports: Prepare daily/weekly/monthly compliance reports as requested.


Requirements

* Available Work Schedule: Available Monday to Friday for a 38-hour week.
* Training Experience: Previous exposure to coordinating, preparing, and delivering training.
* Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a training role is preferred.
* Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing a diverse group of stakeholders and suppliers in a high-volume, high-value environment.
* Communication Skills: Confidence to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Documentation Skills: Competent in accurate documentation and records management.
* Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Verbal and Written Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong attention to detail.
* Writing and Planning Skills: Excellent writing, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Business Partnering: Success in business partnering, working professionally across teams.
* Prioritization: Ability to prioritize projects and work to deadlines.
