About the Opportunity
Ezy-Fit is entering an exciting phase of growth, and we are seeking a skilled Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager to join our high-performing team.
This external facing role is critical in elevating our market presence, strengthening customer relationships, and driving new business opportunities.
You will be responsible for developing existing accounts, generating new leads, and delivering technically sound hydraulic solutions that differentiate Ezy-Fit in the market.
This is a hands-on, customer-focused role where you'll partner closely with our internal teams to ensure we exceed expectations across responsiveness, service, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive new business development and proactively build a strong sales pipeline
* Manage and grow existing customer accounts through regular engagement and technical support
* Provide technically accurate solutions to customer requirements
* Identify market opportunities and contribute to strategic growth initiatives
* Prepare proposals, quotations and technical recommendations
* Represent Ezy-Fit at customer meetings, site visits and industry events.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring:
* Experience in technical sales, business development or account management, ideally within hydraulics, heavy engineering or industrial manufacturing
* Strong technical aptitude and the ability to interpret drawings, specifications and customer needs
* A proven ability to develop new business and convert opportunities
* Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
* A proactive and self-driven approach
* Existing customer relationships or a strong network in the hydraulics/manufacturing sector is highly desirable.

Ezy-Fit is a leading manufacturer of quality hydraulic cylinders and precision components for all industries including Defence and Maritime. Operating out of our Salisbury South premises of 3,000 metres of floor space on 1.2 hectares of land, Ezy-Fit now employs around 70 staff.
Our cylinders are used in Elevating Work Platforms, Underground Mining Equipment, Transport Equipment, Aircraft Loaders, Conveyor Equipment, Hay Presses and Coal Gas Reclamation Equipment.
