As a Counsellor Educator, you will play a pivotal role in empowering residents to build meaningful, independent lives. You'll conduct assessments, create personalized recovery plans, and facilitate both individual and group therapeutic sessions.
Our focus is on providing compassionate and practical support for individuals experiencing alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues, mental health challenges, and social disadvantage.
With your expertise, you'll contribute to a culture of safety, structure, and mutual respect within the Therapeutic Community environment.
This role involves blending therapeutic practice with day-to-day engagement in the community, supporting residents through their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Counsel and educate residents in a group and one-on-one setting
* Create and implement personalized recovery plans
* Facilitate therapy groups and workshops
* Conduct regular progress reviews and updates
