Job Summary
CREST Education is seeking passionate individuals to join our team as CITE Trainee Teachers in ****. Trainee Teachers are employed in the classroom for two days per week throughout the duration of their course, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a supportive school. In addition, trainees will participate in teaching rounds and tailored professional development activities coordinated by the CITE Alliance.
Eligibility
Applications are invited from individuals who are currently enrolled in or planning to enrol in a Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching course at Eastern College Australia (ECA) or Christian Heritage College (CHC – online).
Goals of the Alliance
To provide Christian schools with a supply of Biblically formed graduate teachers.
To present pre-service teachers with a model of initial teacher education that is grounded in a Christian worldview.
To ensure pre-service teachers are trained in best practice and ready to teach at the end of their studies.
To contribute to the growth of teaching and learning capacity across the Christian education sector.
About the Institutions
Education comprises two independent coeducational schools with over **** students, an equestrian centre and an environmental reserve at Clyde North. Hillcrest Christian College established in **** operates from Early Learning to VCE levels including VCE mainstream VCE IB and VCE VM. Rivercrest Christian College is an authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) World School with modern facilities including our brand-new Senior Learning Centre and STEAM building based in Clyde North.
