POSITION
A Hazardous Area Mining Equipment Overhaul Fitter position has become available due to continued growth and strong client demand.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Repairs and overhauls on rated and non rated electric motors
* Electrically driven fixed plant mining equipment
* Strip, assess, repair, reassemble and test rotating equipment
* Workshop-based fitting and machining, with occasional site work
* Reading and working from technical drawings and OEM specs
* Ensuring all work is completed to industry standards and safety compliance

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
To be considered for this position, you must have:
* Proven experience working on Electric fixed plant equipment
* Mechanical or Electrical Fitting qualification
* Ability to work from OEM specifications and job documentation
* Full working rights in Australia and able to drive to South Brisbane
