Job Title: Crisis Management Specialist
Description:
As a Crisis Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing support to individuals and organisations during traumatic events. Your primary responsibility will be to provide Rapid Response Services, including critical incidents, planned support services, rapid connect, disaster response, and incident support forums. You will utilise primary intervention models of Psychological First Aid, stepped care, and referral pathways to ensure effective support is provided to clients.
This role may also involve delivering Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and training and consulting services. If you have experience in providing psychosocial interventions, support, and counselling, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years' experience in trauma management and/or relevant consultancy services
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Behavioural Sciences and registration with the appropriate professional body
• Excellent time management skills, report writing skills, and a willingness to demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude
• High level negotiation and facilitation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders
