About the Role
As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Working in a residential aged care setting, you'll be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, shared living areas, and facilities, while consistently meeting high standards of hygiene and infection control. This is a casual position that requires a reliable and dependable team member with the flexibility to work weekends. As Cleaning Services Assistant, you will:
* Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared living areas in line with infection control standards
* Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including lounges, dining rooms, corridors, and staff areas
* Safely handle, use, and store cleaning chemicals and equipment according to workplace procedures
* Dispose of waste and manage linen in accordance with hygiene and safety guidelines
* Follow cleaning schedules and workplace procedures to ensure consistent, high‐quality standards
