Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Electrician/Mechanic to join their busy workshop based in Malaga. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working on a variety of 4WD vehicles and accessories in a supportive, team-focused environment.
What you'll be doing:
* Installing electrical equipment and components in motor vehicles
* Fitting and wiring dual battery systems and accessory power systems
* Installing driving lights, light bars, and integrated grille lighting
* Installing electric brake controllers, Anderson plugs, roller covers, canopies, and roller lids
* Upgrading vehicle suspension systems and accessory wiring systems
* Working with central locking systems and vehicle electrical circuits
* Diagnosing and repairing vehicle electrical or mechanical faults
* Interpreting job cards and work orders accurately
* Conducting detailed inspections of completed work to ensure high-quality standards
* Assisting with workshop preparation, general labouring duties, stock control, and materials management
* Maintaining high standards of workshop housekeeping and safety
* Supporting team members and assisting with training where required
What you'll need:
* Trade-qualified Auto Electrician or Mechanic
* Strong experience with vehicle electrical systems and 4WD accessory installations
* Attention to detail, reliability, and pride in workmanship
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong problem-solving ability and ability to manage workload effectively
* Comfortable in a fast-paced workshop environment
* Professional attitude with clear communication with management and team members
* Strong commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness
* Previous 4WD accessory fitting experience is highly desirable
