Supporting our Darwin multidisciplinary team, this role is focused on delivering targeted and short-term psychological interventions to children, adolescents, families, and carers (including those from culturally and linguistically diverse populations).As an organisation, we deliver a multi-disciplinary therapy service to paediatric and adult participants and their families and carers. We are an established team who have a strong focus on providing the best therapy to our participants in the evolving space of the NDIS.At Patches, we primarily see participants with NDIS funding and the impact of mental health on function is an important focus, as is evidence-based practice and a parent-child relational model.For therapists wanting to learn, we have a range of highly experienced occupational therapy and speech pathology clinicians on our team who you can work alongside in a multi-disciplinary team. This is valued in the disability sector, as often our participants have difficulty with function in multiple areas and multi-disciplinary work is required.Given our national footprint, we also support learning opportunities via monthly online professional development with other Psychologists at Patches who work interstate.
