Tall Timbers Hotel is entering an exciting new phase.
With a brand-new commercial kitchen currently under construction and a refreshed food offering launching soon, we are expanding our Front of House team and looking for motivated hospitality professionals to be part of the venue’s next chapter.
Known locally as “The Tallies,” our venue is a busy, community-focused pub delivering quality service across bistro, bar and gaming operations. We pride ourselves on strong team culture, supportive leadership and creating great guest experiences.
We are currently recruiting for:
* FOH (Bistro) Supervisor
* FOH (Bistro) Experienced Wait Staff
* Bar & Gaming Attendant (Allrounder)
FOH (Bistro) Supervisor
This role is suited to an experienced hospitality professional ready to step into shift leadership responsibilities and support the successful relaunch of our bistro operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising front-of-house service during busy trading periods
* Leading and supporting team members on shift
* Coordinating table service flow, bookings and food service timing
* Delivering high standards of guest experience and service consistency
* Assisting with POS operation, cash handling and shift procedures
* Supporting compliance with RSA, WHS and food safety requirements
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience supervising in a pub, club or hotel environment
* Strong communication and people leadership skills
* Ability to stay organised and calm under pressure
* Positive attitude and hands-on approach to service
* Availability across nights, weekends and public holidays
* Current RSA (essential)
FOH (Bistro) Experienced Wait Staff – Casual
An excellent opportunity for experienced hospitality team members who enjoy delivering great table service in a fast-paced pub bistro environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing attentive and friendly table service
* Taking food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
* Running meals and coordinating with kitchen during service
* Clearing tables and maintaining presentation of dining areas
* Supporting supervisors and wider FOH team during peak periods
* Ensuring compliance with RSA and venue service standards
What We’re Looking For
* Previous wait staff experience in a busy bistro, pub or restaurant
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume service environment
* Team-focused attitude and reliability
* Availability across evenings, weekends and public holidays
* Current RSA (essential)
Bar & Gaming Attendant (Allrounder) – Casual
A varied and hands-on role suited to team members who enjoy working across bar service, gaming operations and general venue support.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing efficient and friendly bar service
* Monitoring and operating gaming floor activities
* Ensuring responsible service of alcohol and gaming compliance
* Handling POS transactions and cash procedures
* Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of service areas
* Delivering great customer experiences in a fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For
* Previous bar and/or gaming experience (preferred)
* Strong customer service skills and team mindset
* Responsible and compliant approach to RSA & RCG requirements
* Ability to work independently and support wider venue operations
* Availability across evenings, weekends and public holidays
* Current RSA & RCG (essential)
