CoMade has recently been awarded an exciting project to deliver electrical services to the Coffs Harbour Bypass M&E tunnel fit out. The position of Project Controller will be a 12-month full time, 58 hour per week (site based) role commencing August 2025.

Critical to our success is employing a dynamic Project Controller who will play a crucial part in ensuring efficient project delivery by supporting project managers with planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management.

Key role requirements

* Establish and maintain project budgets in alignment with approved estimates and contract baselines.
* Assist with developing and maintaining the project schedule in collaboration with project planners and engineers.
* Develop monthly project financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including performance indices and variance analysis.
* Maintain risk registers and monitor contingency usage and remaining allowances.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring multiple years of experience in a project controls, cost engineering, or financial reporting role on construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects. You will hold a tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred), certification in project controls or related disciplines e.g., PMI-SP, AACE certifications (advantageous).

You will have a demonstrated ability to develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete models along with familiarity with commercial processes, including variation tracking, accruals, and supporting monthly claims. Exposure to field-based operations and the ability to collect, validate, and analyse progress data from site teams.

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools).
