Full-time -Fixed-term position

About therole:

We arecurrently seeking a Practice & Quality Lead to join ourResidential Care and Specialised Support team in Rockhampton. Theywill provide direction for strong service delivery with regard toprogram development, enhancing case management practice, ensuringpractice align with contracts, accreditation, and continuousimprovement. They will assist the coordinator in embedding andenhancing quality service delivery and supervision tostaff.

Whatwill a typical day look like?

- Build and maintainclose liaison with stakeholders such as participants andservice providers to sustain effective and collaborativeworking relationships.
- Work with staff togain and maintain a sound understanding of young people'sneeds based on understanding trauma, grief and loss,attachment, and child development.
- Workcollaboratively to contribute to the improvement ofinterventions in response to young people's needsensuring practice stems from a therapeutic framework ofpractice.
- Assist with thedevelopment of a strong and positive team environment to ensureexcellent communication between team members.
- Advise and guideprogram staff to gain and maintain a sound understanding of thescope and outcomes anticipated for each serviceagreement.

MandatoryRequirements:

- Diplomaqualifications in Social Services/Child Protection orequivalent.
- Knowledge of andexperience with Quality Assurance systems including HumanService Quality Framework.
- Experience inadvising, coaching, and mentoring staff on practice andcompliance issues.

- Ability to obtain aBlue Card (working with children check positive notice orexemption)
- Ability to obtain aYellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemptionnotice)
