Job Title
A Data Governance and Information Management Specialist will work on transformative projects guiding clients to build trust in their data and systems through best practices in governance, compliance, and management across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement robust data governance frameworks to enhance organisational trust.
* Lead or support the development of enterprise content, records, and information management strategies.
* Consult on data management topics including data strategy, master data management, and data governance.
* Advise on data solutions related to data management/governance programs such as data migration, data cataloguing, data quality, business glossary, metadata management, and master data management.
* Support clients in launching and transforming data management and governance programs establishing data ownership across businesses by building up data governance organisations.
* Collaborate with clients to ensure data privacy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Conduct assessments of data handling practices to identify risks and recommend mitigations.
* Develop policies, procedures, and tools to support data management and security.
* Design workflows for secure and efficient management of sensitive data and records.
* Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to drive understanding and adoption of governance principles.
* Contribute to a dynamic team combining data and information management skills and industry expertise.
* Support continual improvement initiatives to enhance our data trust practice.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of information management, data management, and project management principles. Privacy or records management experience is strongly desired.
* Experience in developing and implementing data and information management policies and frameworks.
* Familiarity with privacy laws and regulations.
* Knowledge of enterprise content management tools and practices. Microsoft SharePoint experience is strongly desired.
* Knowledge of eDiscovery tools and practices. Microsoft Purview experience is strongly desired.
* Analytical skills to assess complex scenarios and recommend practical solutions.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with executives and stakeholders.
* A track record of delivering results in a consulting or advisory capacity is highly desirable.
