About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Financial Systems Compliance Specialist to join our high performing Finance team. In this critical role, you will be the owner of all financial systems, overseeing day to day operation, governance, compliance, integration and continuous improvement of our core financial platforms.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will ensure Mainland Dairy's systems meet holding company requirements, regulatory standards, internal controls, and audit expectations while enabling efficient and accurate financial operations.
Your key accountabilities include:
* Overseeing operation, maintenance, governance and security of core financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday Finance or similar ERP)
* Ensuring systems comply with relevant accounting standards, policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, IFRS, ASX)
* Managing user roles, permissions and segregation of duties (SoD) to safeguard sensitive financial data
* Conducting regular system access reviews, audits and control assessments
* Documenting and maintaining process maps, SOPs, user guides and system documentation
* Leading and advising on system changes, upgrades, integrations and enhancements, including UAT and training
* Ensuring data quality, consistency and completeness across all financial data flows, including monthly system balancing and reconciliation
* Acting as the primary contact for Finance, IT and cross functional stakeholders
* Supporting internal and external audits with required system logs, reports and documentation
* Managing systems integration with subsidiaries, affiliates and third party platforms
About You
You are an experienced financial systems specialist with strong technical acumen, sound judgement and a passion for governance, controls and process optimisation.
We want to hear from you if you have:
* CPA/CA qualification (preferred/equivalent) with 10+ years' experience in systems administration
* Expertise in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA (FI CO, Product Costing)
* Experience with corporate reporting layers (e.g., Hyperion Financial Management, SAP S/4, etc.)
* Experience with Treasury & Trade Promotion Management applications
* Strong capability in data hubs, reporting tools and financial systems integration
* Proven leadership, stakeholder management and problem solving skills
* A continuous improvement mindset and experience supporting upgrades, patches and system enhancements
* Ability to translate business needs into system and process solutions
