Join the Stockland Halcyon team as our Facilities Caretaker at Stockland Halcyon Providence, located in South Ripley. This is an opportunity to be part of a new build and community focused environment, and as it grows, your role will grow too.
We're Looking For….
A hands-on individual to lead the care and upkeep of this vibrant lifestyle and community. A permanent full-time role, Monday – Friday, 6am – 2pm, no weekends
What You'll Do
Take ownership of the gardens, grounds and recreational facilities, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standard.
* Maintain and enhance large-scale gardens, grounds and amenities
* Supervision of contractors
* Perform routine and scheduled maintenance across the site
* Ensure safety compliance and uphold high operational standards
* Build strong, respectful relationships with homeowners
* Manage community security and operational budgets
* Participate in regular Caretaker meetings and complete required reporting
About You
Proactive and personable, you take pride in creating a welcoming and well-maintained environment.
Experience & Skills That Count
* Proven experience in managing large, scaled gardens and grounds as well as experience in general maintenance and amenity cleaning
* Background in caretaking or maintenance within lifestyle communities, retirement living, schools, or hotels/resorts
* Experience in team supervision and contractor coordination
* Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in engaging with people
* Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
* ACDC licence for weed spraying (or willingness to obtain)
* Basic computer proficiency and current First Aid certificate (refresher available)
* Full driver's licence and own transport to/from work (work ute provided during work hours)
