The recently redeveloped RAC Ningaloo Reef Resort sits on the pristine shores of Coral Bay, a gateway to the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Marine Park. Featuring 90 modern units, a resort-style pool, ocean-view dining, a contemporary clubhouse, and sustainable features like solar power and EV charging, it offers an unparalleled coastal experience.
Ahead of our grand reopening in mid-2026, we're seeking motivated and passionate full-time Commis Chefs to join our kitchen team.
What will you be doing?
Working under the guidance of the Head Chef and Chef de Partie, you'll assist in preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standards while learning and developing your culinary skills in a dynamic resort environment.
Your day-to-day impact
* Assist with preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes.
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
* Complete mise en place and opening/closing duties.
* Support smooth service by liaising with the F&B team.
* Assist with stock control and storage of ingredients.
* Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
What are we looking for in you?
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential).
* Previous experience as a Commis Chef or kitchen role desirable.
* Strong passion for food, learning, and career development.
* Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
* Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays.
