Senior Landscape Architect – 2IC Opportunity

Acting exclusively on behalf of a respected Brisbane landscape architecture practice, we are seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to step into a key Second-in-Charge (2IC) role alongside the Director, with a clear pathway toward Associate Director.
This is a rare opportunity to join a growing studio and play a meaningful role in shaping both projects and the future growth of the practice.
Working closely with the Director, you will lead projects while contributing to the strategic development of the studio, supporting the team and strengthening client relationships as the practice continues to expand.

Known for its collaborative approach and design-led thinking, the studio has developed strong relationships with architects, developers, government and private clients.
With a growing pipeline of work, the practice is now looking to appoint a Senior Landscape Architect who can help support the next stage of the studio’s development.
The Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to become a key part of the studio’s leadership structure.
As the Director’s Second-in-Charge, you will help lead projects, support the team and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
Responsibilities Will Include
Leading landscape architecture projects from concept through to deliveryWorking closely with the Director on project and studio strategyCoordinating with clients, architects, engineers and consultantsMentoring and supporting junior designersContributing to design discussions and project directionSupporting the continued development of the practice
For the right person, this role offers a clear pathway toward Associate Director in the coming years.

You Will Ideally Bring
Experience working as a Senior Landscape Architect or experience and capable Landscape ArchitectStrong design and project delivery experienceProficiency in AutoCAD and PhotoshopExperience coordinating consultants and managing project teamsA collaborative approach and interest in mentoring othersA desire to contribute to the growth and leadership of the studio
