Your role as a Business Development Manager is to leverage your in-depth lending experience to grow market share by building strong, long-lasting relationships with the local community. Your expertise will be key in developing tailored lending solutions that meet the needs of customers.

With a deep understanding of the local market, lending products and risk management, you’ll be the go-to expert in your area. By driving new business and expanding your network you’ll make an impact in business growth and the local community.

This is a permanent, full-time position located across the three Community Banks in this group: Avoca & Maryborough & St Arnaud.


Responsibilities

* Proactively building a strong pipeline by identifying new opportunities, establishing referral partnerships, and acquiring new customers through strategic networking.
* Guiding customers seamlessly through the lending process, providing them with confidence and peace of mind as you help them achieve their financial goals.
* Strengthening your community presence by building your personal brand, nurturing and leveraging existing Community Bank relationships, and expanding your network through active participation in local events.
* Leveraging your credit analysis expertise and understanding of customer needs to ensure positive lending outcomes and help future-proof their financial success.
* Developing lasting relationships within the community, positioning yourself as a trusted lending expert who’s always ready to support your customers’ needs.

Qualifications

* Extensive consumer lending experience – this is essential.
* Strong networks and a proven ability to self-generate new business opportunities.
* High level of understanding of lending products, policies and regulations.
* An ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues quickly, assess their needs and develop a holistic view of their situation.
* Highly developed credit analysis skills.
* An understanding of small business offerings.
* A self-motivated, high performing approach, with a proven track record of consistently delivering lending growth.
