About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our Human Resources team across the Penrite Group. As a key member of our HR team, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to build strong relationships across stakeholders.
This is a full-time position based at our Head Office in Dandenong South, Victoria, and requires full working rights in Australia. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role will play a key part in supporting leaders and employees across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Policy management – revise, create and educate stakeholders on HR policies.
* Support and run end-to-end employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, and performance management.
* Assist and support the Recruitment Specialist with posting job ads, screening, organising interviews, reference checks and drafting employment contracts.
* Draft letters and documentation with a high level of accuracy.
* Ensure all HR forms, templates, and processes are current and easy to access.
* Manage engagement initiatives and coordinate with other key stakeholders to deliver.
What We Are Looking For
* Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar HR Advisor role, working across the full employee lifecycle.
* Degree qualified in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
* Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice.
* Strong experience in drafting policies, managing disciplinary processes and grievance investigations.
* Understanding of NZ employment legislations (preferred not required).
* Strong attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset.
* Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence and support stakeholders.
* Able to thrive in an environment where priorities shift rapidly and no two days look the same.
* Ability to anticipate needs, identify risks early, and contribute to continuous improvement.
* Ability to take ownership of tasks, follow through, and deliver outcomes with minimal supervision.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain steady, professional, and objective in challenging or emotionally charged situations.
