Warehouse Operations Manager Position
The day-to-day management of the warehouse, support office, and administration functions requires a dedicated professional. The right candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of business operations from procurement to customer order fulfillment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage inventory planning, quality control, maintenance, safety, and logistics processes.
* Lead and manage people, including recruitment, rostering, retention, and performance management.
* Evaluate and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, particularly WHS and Quality Standards.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficiency enhancements.
Requirements:
* A minimum of hands-on experience in a similar capacity within a retail or FMCG business.
* Strong leadership skills and business acumen with demonstrable knowledge and experience in Warehousing and Logistics.
* Excellent computer skills, especially with MS Office suite (particularly MS Excel) and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
* Exposure to retail furniture distribution/industry will be beneficial.
* Formal vocational or university qualifications will be looked upon favorably.
