Drill Technician Mechanic at Bendigo Advertiser
Location: Ravensworth, NSW, AU. WesTrac is seeking an experienced Drill Technician to join the team in Ravensworth due to the introduction of MD6250 CAT rotary drills throughout the Hunter Valley Region.
Responsibilities
* Specialise in the assembly, commissioning and maintenance of our customer machines.
* Understand and manage warranty processes while utilising expertise to ensure project success.
* Apply a thorough knowledge of rotary drills and a safety‑first mindset to all tasks.
* Work dayshift only; roster and remuneration include shift allowance and attractive location allowance.
Skills & Experience
* Drill, Mobile Plant or Heavy Vehicle Trade Qualification & COP (Australian Trade Recognised).
* Drill maintenance and repair experience in mining.
* Experience with Caterpillar equipment + diagnostic tools (desirable).
* Working at heights (desirable).
* MDG25 (desirable).
* Strong job planning skills.
* Experience using SIS (desirable).
