OverviewWe are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters who want to gain experience in the marine industry to join our team and work with one of our highly respected clients, based in Henderson & Naval Base.
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical repairs, overhauls, and maintenance of marine systems and equipment in both workshop and site environments.This role demands a high standard of workmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict project deadlines.
You will be required to perform mechanical fitting, assembly, and disassembly tasks to a high standard, identify and diagnose equipment faults and carry out corrective repairs, and measure, calibrate, and record mechanical dimensions with precision.Highly value experience with marine diesel engines, transmissions, auxiliary gensets, air-conditioning systems, DC electrical systems, and reverse osmosis (RO) plants.
