C&H Recruitment is supporting our Townsville based client in recruiting for a Finance Officer / Administrator to join them on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, this role will challenge and develop your professional skills, whilst providing great exposure to a multifaceted heavy industry business.
This role offers Monday to Friday work and office hours from 8am-4pm with some flexibility
As a key member of the Finance Team, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation, processing, and maintaining records for the payroll and accounts receivable functions as well as providing general finance and administration support.
Key Responsibilities in the role:
* Weekly data entry of employee payroll timesheets
* Filing and document management
* Basic customer invoicing
* Bank reconciliation
* General administration and finance duties
Requirements:
* Prior experience in finance (highly regarded)
* Experience with accounts payables and payroll (preferred)
* Excellent organisational and time management skills with keen attention to detail
* Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
