6month Part time Podiatrist – Sports & MSK Focus
Initial maternity Leave Cover with the chance to extend
We are looking for a Podiatrist to join the PCS Podiatry team, within a well-established Physiotherapy Clinic, Physioworks Camberwell. This is a great opportunity for a podiatrist with an interest in musculoskeletal and sports podiatry to learn and work within a multidisciplinary team.
* 6 month part-time role: 2 days per week (or up to 20 hours)
* Initial 6-month contract with the opportunity to extend this or increase hours in the other Physio clinic locations
* Predominantly musculoskeletal caseload (~95%)
* Strong referral pathways and consistent patient numbers
What the Podiatrist will be doing:
* Assessing and treating sports and MSK injuries
* With support and mentoring from the Principal Podiatrist
* Adjusting premade orthoses or externally made custom foot orthoses, using our onsite orthotic lab
* Opportunity for training in Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) and dry needling
* Working closely with in house physiotherapists
* Liaising with local GPs, sports physicians and orthopaedic surgeons
What we're looking for:
* A tertiary degree in Podiatry and current AHPRA registration
* Strong communication skills and clinical confidence
* Ideally 2+ years' experience (but not essential)
* Experience or interest in sports/MSK podiatry
* ESWT or dry needling experience would be beneficial, but not essential
