Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Brisbane Area for a Structural Drafter. The Structural Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed structural drawings and plans, collaborating with engineers and project stakeholders to translate designs into technical documentation. Responsibilities include preparing accurate 2D and 3D models, interpreting architectural and engineering specifications, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role will also involve maintaining project schedules, coordinating with the project team, and making design adjustments as necessary.
Qualifications
Proficiency in structural drafting software such as AutoCAD and Revit
Strong understanding of engineering principles, building codes, and regulations
Experience in creating 2D and 3D structural models
Ability to interpret and translate architectural and engineering specifications
Strong communication skills for collaboration with engineers and project stakeholders
Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
Knowledge of materials and construction methods is an advantage
Relevant tertiary qualifications in drafting, engineering, or a related field
