Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and oversee daily batching operations for sauces, dressings, and spice blends.
* Ensure recipes and formulations are followed precisely, maintaining product quality and consistency.
* Manage raw material usage, allergen control, stock rotation, and traceability.
* Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with HACCP, SQF, and FSANZ standards.
* Schedule and prioritise batches to meet production and customer deadlines.
* Train, guide, and support batching staff to ensure safety and accuracy.
* Complete batch documentation and maintain accurate production records.
* Monitor equipment performance and liaise with maintenance as required.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2-3 years' experience in food manufacturing essential, preferably in batching or mixing.
* Strong understanding of food safety and quality systems (HACCP, GMP, SQF).
* High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
* Competent in using batching systems, scales, and production software.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Basic IT skills.
