About the Role:
We’re on the lookout for a reliable and caring Home Care Cleaner to join our dedicated Home Care team. If you take pride in creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments – and enjoy making a difference in people’s everyday lives – we’d love to hear from you!
This is a part-time role supporting older South Australians to remain independent in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include:
o Home Cleaning: Deliver high-quality cleaning services in clients’ homes across the community.
o Flexibility: Adapt to a variety of tasks and work under the guidance of both the Hotel Services and Home Care teams.
o Travel: Visit multiple locations across Adelaide including Glynde, Fullarton, and Hope Valley – so a reliable vehicle and valid Australian driver’s license are essential .
o Team Support: Occasionally assist with cleaning shifts at our LHG residential care facilities when needed.
About You:
You’re a proactive, reliable cleaner with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of commercial-style cleaning. You take pride in delivering high standards, adapting to each client’s needs while following safety protocols with care and attention. Confidentiality is second nature to you, and you’re comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You communicate clearly and respectfully, and have sound knowledge of cleaning chemicals, their safe use, and how to interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
All candidates must undergo a pre-employment medical assessment. Additionally, a current Police Clearance and NDIS Worker Check are required. In line with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are encouraged to have all recommended vaccinations. Candidates must also be eligible to work in Australia
