We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team in New South Wales. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing existing customer relationships across the coal mining sector.
The ideal candidate will have significant underground mining experience, preferably within the coal sector, and a strong understanding of ground support materials and installation practices.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow existing customer accounts in the NSW coal sector, with a strong focus on building long-term partnerships.
* Provide technical sales support and product recommendations related to underground strata reinforcement and support systems.
* Work collaboratively with clients to understand operational challenges and propose tailored solutions using our product range.
* Implement regional and customer-specific sales strategies to achieve business targets.
* Monitor and report on product performance, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction and identifying areas for improvement.
* Identify and pursue opportunities for product development or innovation in response to customer needs.
* Support the Regional Sales Manager in preparing and executing regional sales and cost budgets.
* Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, including site visit reports and key action items.
* Regular domestic travel within the allocated territory and work underground as necessary to fulfil role requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have a proven ability to develop customer relationships, identify opportunities for growth, and influence technical decision-making.
You will be a self-motivated professional who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a broader team.
A trade or tertiary qualification in a mining or engineering-related discipline will be well regarded.
