Business Support Officer Role
Key to successful delivery of recreation services is the role of a Business Support Officer. The primary function of this position is to ensure consistency, efficiency and excellence across all sites.
* This dynamic role plays a key part in ensuring smooth operation of recreation facilities by providing administrative, operational and project support.
About the Position:
* The Business Support Officer will be the key link between our recreation facilities and the wider network.
* They will champion new initiatives and assist with change management across facilities.
* They will improve operational efficiency by ensuring consistency in processes and systems.
* They will provide guidance and support to staff, helping to streamline workloads and optimise resources.
* They will assist with the planning and delivery of City initiatives that impact recreation operations.
* They will contribute to improved service delivery and community experiences across all facilities.
Requirements:
* Enthusiastic team player with tertiary qualifications in recreation, fitness, education or a related field, with at least 12 months' experience in a similar role.
* Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience coordinating and delivering programs or initiatives within a recreation or community setting.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Knowledge of financial and budget processes and a sound grasp of operational management.
* A passion for supporting community services and helping others succeed.
* Current C Class driver's licence and a valid National Police Certificate (no more than six months old).
