This pivotal role will collaborate across the asset lifecycle, with a focus on coordinating asset renewal and replacement initiatives driven by:
- **End of Life** - Proactively identify and plan for the replacement of assets approaching the end of their usable lifespan.
- **Safety**- Ensure asset renewal aligns with safety standards, addressing risks to minimise hazards and maintain compliance.
- **Asset Performance** - Evaluate and optimise asset efficiency and effectiveness to support organisational goals and maintain operational excellence.
**Who we are looking for**:
You are a **calm and methodical thinker** who is capable of managing complex maintenance operations while maintaining a structured and strategic approach. Skilled in **analysing data**, generating reports, and optimising asset performance through data-driven decision-making with a strong ability to identify trends, **improve efficiency**, and drive continuous improvement in asset management processes.
**Additionally, you will have the following**:
- A relevant degree or qualification in Engineering, Asset Management or Facilities Management with extensive experience in managing the built environment (preferably in a large organisation); or an equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training.
- Proficient in spreadsheets, data validation and reporting.
- Strong leadership capabilities and ability to develop and implement asset management plans.
- Excellent risk assessment and financial planning skills.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements related to infrastructure maintenance.
- Understanding of Australian Standards and Work Health & Safety regulations.
**Role Requirements**:
- As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
- Ability to travel to regional locations (Kalgoorlie) if required.
