Stihl Shop Jimboomba is a Outdoor Power Equipment dealership located in Jimboomba. We are a Local Family Owned Business.
We sell all kinds of Outdoor Power Tools Including: Ride On Mowers, Zero Turn Mowers, Push Mowers, Chainsaws, Brushcutters, Generators and much more…We have been doing this for over 25 years and have partner with Industry Leading suppliers who include: STIHL, HUSTLER, BUSHRANGER, GRAVELY, GREENFIELD & STIGA
Tasks & responsibilities
* Working in our Service Department, you will be tasked with repairing machinery on a daily basis
* We service and repair Zero Turn Mowers, Rideon Mowers, Push Mowers, Chainsaws, Brushcutters, Air Blowers, Pressure Washers, Concrete Cutters - anything that is small engine based.
* Perform Troubleshooting and Diagnosis on the following - 2 Stroke Engines, 4 Stroke Engines, Battery Powered Product and Electric Pressure Washers
* Assist in assembly and pre-delivery of new products
* Assist in the showroom with customer enquirys on Parts and Sales as required, also demonstrating a key interest in learning products and parts for our clientele
* Adhere to instore practises involving meeting KPIs, OH&S, and inhouse repair standards
* Be Proactive - Be prepared for regular training from OEMs and in house
* Assist in all areas of the business as required
* Be able to work autonomously, be a self starter, be clean and presentable
* Our shop is Open 6 Days, Be prepared to work Mon-Fri and then a rotating roster for weekend work in the Retail Shop Front as required
Qualifications & experience
* Completed formal education and a have minimum of Two years experience post completion of your trade qualifications - Cert III in Small Engines or Light Automotive, Or a relevant Trade Certificate relating to Mechanical
* Be comfortable working in a fast paced team environment
* Have a Great Attitude to your work and industry, and be able to interact with our customers, and work in the retail showroom as well as workshop
* Preferably have in depth knowledge in the following Brands - Stihl, Hustler,Bushranger,Stiga & Greenfield - this isnt essential, as training is provided
* We do Work on all brands so Toro, Rover, John Deere, MTD, Cub Cadet, Briggs & Stratton, Kawasaki, Kohler, a broad knowledge of industry is required
* Have exceptional computer skills, be able to utilise cloud based IPL systems, as well as using our instore POS systems.
* Any form of current OEM training is advantageous
