Eligibility Criteria
* Be a graduate of NITA.
* Have a minimum of 2 years' industry experience post-graduation in either Housekeeping, Front Office, or Food & Beverage. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Housekeeping and Front Office, or experience across all three areas.
* Hold a valid Class C Australian Driver's Licence (desirable)
* Demonstrate the ability and desire to undertake a TAE qualification to become a VET Trainer.
Key Duties of a Trainer & Assessor (once you have completed your course)
* Train and assess the current Certificate III in Tourism and Certificate III in Hospitality to Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) accreditation and regulatory standards and requirements.
* Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the NITA program under the direction of the NITA Operations Manager.
* Maintain student records to ASQA accreditation and regulatory standards and requirements.
