As a Centre Director at Goodstart, you'll be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. You'll build strong, meaningful relationships with children, families, and communities, fully embracing the profound impact of your role in their lives.
In This Role, You Will
As Centre Director, you will be at the heart of our centre's success—leading with vision, purpose, and a genuine passion for early childhood education. You will guide a committed team and ensure the highest level of care, safety, and learning for all children.
Leading a centre through the A&R process, preparing documentation, and supporting teams to demonstrate high-quality practice. Creating, maintaining, and evaluating the centre's Quality Improvement Plan.
Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business
Coaching, mentoring, and empowering educators to be their best.
Overseeing centre performance, compliance, budgeting, rosters, and daily operations.

Goodstart Calliope is a welcoming early learning environment proudly rated 'Meeting' in our March 2024 Assessment and Rating. Our centre offers five thoughtfully designed rooms—from Nursery through to Kindergarten—providing a nurturing space for every child's learning journey.
Our 75‑place centre supports families with flexibility during our operating hours from Monday – Friday, 6:15am – 6:15pm while fostering a strong sense of connection and belonging.

You'll Need
A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education ( or working towards)
Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
