About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrician/Electrical Fitter to join our team at Ballantyne's in Mandurah, WA. This full-time role is integral to the success of our electrical services business, which serves a diverse range of residential, commercial and industrial clients. As an Electrician/Electrical Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical pump systems and equipment, ensuring the highest standards of safety and reliability.
What you'll be doing
- Carry out electrical installations, repairs and maintenance work on a variety of electrical systems and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, and implement appropriate solutions
- Ensure all work is completed to the required safety standards and industry regulations
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our electrical services through innovative solutions and best practices
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work undertaken
What we're looking for
- Formal qualifications in Electrical/Electrotechnology, such as a Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrician or Electrical Fitter, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
- Extensive experience in installation, maintenance and repair of all pump systems including submersible, centrifugal and industrial pumps
