As a Microsoft Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician (DIAT), you will perform cycle audits, execute incoming/outgoing deliveries, coordinate security escorts for third-party vendors, and document inbound and outbound deliveries. Responsibilities
* Perform assigned tasks and escalate issues during high-volume work activity or escalation situations.
* Coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claims and process failed vendor hardware devices, including information processing, packaging, shipment, and receipt of return for RMA devices following SLAs.
* Use process knowledge and judgment to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
* Maintain accurate information within inventory management systems and ensure detailed physical inventory tracking.
* Help reconcile and report inventory discrepancies.
* Perform destruction of data-bearing devices following SLAs and policies.
* Notify management of stock shortages and escalate issues as needed.
* Comply with security and data management policies.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
* High School Diploma and 1+ year of experience in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Ability to work shifts, including non-standard hours, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Background Check Requirements
* Pass Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check every two years.
* Verification of Australian Citizenship to meet federal security requirements.
* Potential requirement for NV1/2 or PV security clearance through the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
Preferred Qualifications
* 1+ year experience in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment, operating heavy-load movement equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks, or equivalent experience.
