About The Role
We're looking for a reliable and motivated Catering Assistant to join our friendly team in Glen Waverley. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality food service and customer care.
You'll support day-to-day catering operations, assist with food preparation and presentation, and help ensure our kitchen and service areas run smoothly during busy periods.

Desired Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and assemble food items including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
* Assist with meal service, ensuring a high standard of presentation and customer service
* Restock supplies before, during, and after service periods
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing duties
* Set tables and assist with plating and meal distribution
About You
* Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
* Experience in contract catering or aged care (desirable but not essential)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment
* Professional presentation and positive work ethic
