About the Role
We're seeking a Digital & Content Coordinator to lead the creation and delivery of engaging, high-quality digital content across our platforms.
Reporting to the Head of Revenue and Engagement, you'll play a key role in coordinating social media and content creation, digital campaign delivery, paid digital advertising and SEO support, and website management - helping to grow engagement, drive fundraising outcomes, and share the powerful stories of the families we support.
This is a new role for our chapter, and the ideal candidate will thrive in leading the creative implementation of the role in line with best practice for digital and content delivery. It is a hands-on, creative role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by work that delivers real purpose and impact.
Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Content Creation
* Create, schedule and publish content across social media, email (EDMs), and website
* Develop engaging multimedia content (copy, graphics, video, storytelling)
* Translate real family stories into compelling, sensitive digital content
Campaign Coordination
* Support digital delivery of fundraising campaigns, appeals, events and peer-to-peer initiatives
* Integrate organic and paid digital strategies to maximise campaign performance
* Collaborate with internal teams and agency to align messaging and campaign objectives
Website & SEO
* Maintain and update website content (WordPress, Funraisin or similar CMS)
* Ensure content is SEO optimised, accessible, and up to date
Analytics & Performance
* Track and report on digital performance metrics
* Use insights to improve engagement and campaign outcomes
Stakeholder Engagement
* Work closely with regional teams, families, volunteers and partners to source content
* Manage relationships with external suppliers and agencies where required
About You
You're a creative and organised digital marketer who is passionate about storytelling and purpose-driven work.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
You will bring (Key Selection Criteria)
* Experience in a Digital Marketing Coordinator, Content Coordinator or Social Media role
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Digital Marketing Coordinator or Content Coordinator
* Hands-on experience managing or supporting paid digital campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads/Google Grant or similar)
* Strong skills in content creation, copywriting and storytelling
* Experience with platforms such as WordPress, Mailchimp/Campaign Monitor, Canva, and Meta Business Suite
* Understanding of SEO, digital engagement, paid media and conversion optimisation
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* A compassionate and professional approach when working with sensitive stories
Desirable:
* Experience in the Not-for-Profit sector
* Experience with fundraising platforms (e.g. Funraisin)
* Intermediate level video production experience is required for creating professional multimedia content
