About the Role
John Holland's Building business is looking to speak with Senior HSE Managers with Tier 1 Health, Commercial Tower or Stadium experience.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of health, safety and environmental initiatives
* Provide expert guidance and advice to operational leaders and frontline staff on safety best practices
* Conduct thorough risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and internal standards
* Analyse incident trends and safety data to drive proactive interventions and continuous improvement
* Oversee the investigation of incidents and ensure timely reporting and corrective actions
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed a strong safety culture and promote employee wellbeing
* Stay up to date with regulatory changes and industry innovations to maintain best-in-class safety systems
What we are looking for
* 10+ years' experience in a HSE Manager role with Tier 1 Health, Commercial Tower or Stadium project experience
* Diploma of Safety in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
* Cert IV in Environmental Management
* Bachelor degree in Safety, Environment, Project Management or other associated disciplines
* Safety Lead Auditor Qualification, Internal Environmental Auditor Qualification
* TAE Training and Assessment
* Quantitative & qualitative risk assessment and monitoring of risk controls and actions involved in delivery and implementation of projects
* Knowledge of Safety legislation and statutes (especially those relating to Comcare), and ability to interpret any applicable statutes or legislation relevant to Project
* Knowledge of Environmental legislation and statutes, and ability to interpret any applicable statutes or legislation relevant to Project
