About the role
As part of the Communications and Marketing team, theContent Marketing and Communications Coordinatorplays a key role in creating clear, compelling, and brand-aligned content that attracts, informs, and inspires action.
You will craft engaging content across websites, brochures, campaigns, social media, and media releases to strengthen the Parish's reputation, support growth in services such as aged care, education and training, and community services, as well as drive recruitment and fundraising outcomes.
This role works closely with colleagues in design, campaigns, recruitment, fundraising, and internal communications, ensuring our messaging is consistent, impactful, and audience focused.

Key focus areas
* Write clear, engaging, SEO-optimised content for websites, email marketing, brochures, social media, and campaigns.
* Craft copy to support service growth, recruitment, fundraising, and brand reputation.
* Develop and manage content calendars that align with organisational priorities.
* Use analytics and insights to refine content for greater engagement and conversion.
* Work with media to prepare releases, feature stories, and executive quotes that highlight our impact.
* Support crisis communication by drafting clear, empathetic public-facing statements.
* Maintain tone of voice, brand consistency, and messaging guidelines across all channels.

WHO YOU ARE:
* Tertiary qualifications in communications, digital marketing, public relations, journalism or related field (desirable)
* 3-5 years' experience in content marketing, including strategy and production
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible content
* Experience creating SEO-optimised content for websites, email campaigns, and social media
* Proven ability to use marketing automation tools and CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365) to deliver targeted content
* Experience engaging with media to secure coverage and support brand reputation
* Strong organisational skills, able to manage competing deadlines and priorities
* Proficient in CMS platforms (e.g., Wordpress) and analytics tools
* High-level interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
* Proactive, professional, and solution-oriented with strong attention to detail
* Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information
