Coordinator Moonah Arts Centre

Glenorchy City Council is seeking an experienced and passionate Coordinator for the Moonah Arts Centre to lead the day‐to‐day operations of one of our key community cultural venues.

As a senior coordination role, you will be responsible for venue operations, community cultural programs, events, staff leadership, and strategic contribution to Council's arts and cultural objectives.

About the role

Manage the daily operations of the Moonah Arts Centre, ensuring the venue is safe, welcoming and event‐ready.

Lead and support a dedicated team delivering cultural programs, events and community projects.

Build strong partnerships with artists, community groups, stakeholders and internal Council teams.

Oversee marketing, customer experience and stakeholder engagement for the Centre.

Manage budgets, grants, funding applications and financial reporting.

Contribute to Council's strategic, annual and business planning for arts and culture.

Qualifications
* A degree qualification in a relevant discipline.
* Significant experience (minimum five years) in arts, cultural development, venue or community program management.
* Demonstrated leadership experience, including staff supervision and financial management.
* Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and collaboration skills.
* Experience developing and delivering arts or community cultural programs and events.
* Knowledge of funding and grant programs within the arts and cultural sector.
* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a liquor licence.

Position hours and salary

Full‐Time, 76 hours fortnight. Salary: $105,570.00 pa plus superannuation.
